THE JORGE MARÍN FOUNDATION, COMMITTED TO THE WELL-BEING AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES, CONTINUES TO OPERATE WITH A PROJECT FOCUSED ON THE CHILDREN OF PETECTUNICH, MUNICIPALITY OF ACANCEH IN MÉRIDA, YUCATAN. MEXICO. RECOGNIZING THE DIFFICULTIES FACE BY FAMILIES IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS, SINCE 2022 THE FOUNDATION HAS IMPLEMENTED A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE A SIGNIFICANT ECONOMIC NEED AND A FIRM ACADEMIC COMMITMENT.
THIS FINANCIAL SUPPORT SEEKS TO PROVIDE YOUNG BENEFICIARIES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES, STRENGTHENING THEIR CAPABILITIES AND OFFERING THEM A BETTER FUTURE. STUDENTS ARE SELECTED THROUGH AN ANALYSIS OF THEIR SOCIOECONOMIC SITUATION AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, ENSURING THAT THE SCHOLARSHIPS REACH THOSE WHO NEED THEM MOST, MAINTAINING CLOSE MONITORING TO ENSURE THAT THE SUPPORT PROVIDED HAS THE EXPECTED IMPACT ON THEIR ACADEMIC AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. THIS ONGOING RELATIONSHIP ALLOWS US TO EVALUATE THE STUDENTS' PROGRESS, WITH THE FIRM PURPOSE OF EFFECTIVELY CONTRIBUTING TO THEIR EDUCATION.
